MASHIHOにとっての“ムービースター”

みなさん、ひと月ぶりでございます。それでは連載第7回、やっていきましょう！　今回のテーマは「映画について」です。

まず、自分が初めて観た映画について綴りたいところなのですが、正直覚えておりません。が……おそらくアクションが昔から好きなので、ジャッキー・チェンの映画だと思うのです。

母もジャッキー・チェンが好きで、その影響で小さいころからよく彼が出ているアクション映画を観ていたと思います。なぜか昔からアクションが大好きで、物心ついてからも戦隊モノや仮面ライダー、洋画のアクションなどたくさんの作品を観てきたと思います。

ジャッキー・チェンの映画の中で、特に好きなものというのはなかなか選びづらいのですが、強いて選ぶのなら『酔拳』ですね。

なんといっても、あの酔いながらおもしろく戦闘をしているシーンが最高でした。上の写真にはありませんが、『ラッシュアワー』も大好きでございます。

自分がジャッキー・チェンをリスペクトしている点は、やはりスタントマンなしで、すべて自分でやり遂げるところですね。リアルを追求する思いというのは、どの職業においても美しく光り輝いて見えます。

ジャッキー・チェンの映画は、だいたい最後のエンディングでNG集が流れるのですが、どれだけケガをしようともあきらめずに作品を完成させる姿に、映画に込められた彼の思いをよりいっそう感じることができて、とても感動します。作品を通じて、「アクション映画は、作っている人・出演している人がやりがいを感じられるものなんだろうなぁ」と感じます。

そして漢のロマンといってはあれですが、やっぱりアクションってなんだか憧れるではありませんか。シンプルにカッコいいんです。

心に残った洋画＆邦画は？

洋画のアクションでいうと、『ターミネーター』が大好きでしたね。これは父の影響です。笑

「I’ll be back.」（作品のセリフ）にはシビれますねぇぇぇ。

ターミネーターは、ただのアクション映画やSF映画というジャンルを超えて、「人間とは何か」という問いを突きつけてくる作品だと思っています。

特に『ターミネーター2』では、かつて恐怖の象徴だったT-800が守護者になり、機械でありながら人間味を感じさせる姿に胸が熱くなります。未来への絶望と、今を必死に生き抜く人間の姿が交差するストーリーは、何度観ても飽きませんね……。

アクションの迫力だけでなく、人間の可能性と絆の尊さを教えてくれる名作だと感じております。

好きな洋画についても話したところで、次は邦画のアクションについて語りたいのですが、一番ハマったものがアリマシテ。

それが実写版の『るろうに剣心』です。佐藤健さんの演じる緋村剣心に心惹かれました。演技はもちろんのこと、殺陣にもとことんこだわりが見受けられて、プロ魂をしっかりと感じました。しかも2012年の第1作から2021年の最終章まで、約9年間にわたって主役を演じていらしたので、そこもとても尊敬しております。

佐藤健さんは『仮面ライダー電王』に出ていらっしゃったときから、めちゃくちゃ好きでした。佐藤健さん、最高の作品たちをありがとうございます。

『るろうに剣心』は、最終章（『るろうに剣心 最終章 The Beginning』）の主題歌もいいんですよ……。ONE OK ROCKさんの「Renegades」という曲なのですが、ズバ抜けて作品とマッチしており感動しました。

自分はアクション映画が好きで観ているのみでしたが、『るろうに剣心』をきっかけに、いつかアクションにチャレンジしてみたいなと思うようになりました。

子どものころからの憧れ

ここからは仮面ライダーと戦隊モノについて話させてください。

簡潔に一番好きな仮面ライダーは「アギト」なんです。

『仮面ライダーアギト』は、2001年の自分の生まれた年に放送されていたのですが、物心ついてからアギトの存在を知り、DVDをレンタルしてすべて観ました。

変身ベルトの見た目も、変身するときの演出も、スーパーシンプルで大好きです。変身した姿もまたスタイリッシュで、アギトの中でもいろんなライダーが出てきますがすべて完璧なんです。

ストーリーも素晴らしいので、みなさんぜひ機会がありましたら、『仮面ライダーアギト』観てみてください。

そして、戦隊モノで一番好きなのは『特捜戦隊デカレンジャー』でございます。

ほら。

バンバン（『特捜戦隊デカレンジャー』の主人公・赤座伴番）が好きです。もっというと、バンバンの乗る「パトストライカー」（本作に登場するマシン）が大好きです。もっともっというと、バンバンの使うディーマグナム01／ディーマグナム02、そしてハイブリッドマグナム（どれも本作に登場する武器）が超好きです。

当時はバンバンが使うその銃が欲しくて探し回ったのですが、全然見つからなくて、今になって買おうかとも思っております。

オープニング、エンディングもまた耳に残る曲でずっと口ずさんでいた記憶があります。

とにかく仮面ライダー、戦隊モノは、ともに子供の夢でございますな。憧れるに決まってます。たくさんの楽しみをありがとうございました。

映画についてなのにアクションから始まり、話がそれてしまいました。申し訳。

では、最後に記憶にある限り一番古い、初めて映画館で見た作品について語っておしまいにいたします。たぶんなのですが、それはアクション映画ではないんですよね。記憶が曖昧で本当にこれかどうかわからないのですが、『カーズ』だと思います。

アクションも好きですが、小さいころから乗り物が大好きなんですよ。The おとこ。ですな。

映画も観て、DVDも持っているという。愛ですねこれは。

写真にもあるとおり『トイ・ストーリー』も大好きですし、ジョニー・デップが出演している映画たちも大好きで、ユーモアにあふれたひと時がたまりませんでした。まだまだ好きな映画たちが出てきて止まらないので、ここらへんにしておきます。

とにかくいつか、アクション作品出演に挑戦できる日が来ることを祈って、マルチに多方面で日々精進いたします。

MASHIHO’s Love for Movies

It’s been a month, everyone.

So let’s get started on the seventh installment!

The theme this time is about “movies”.

This is an episode where I’ll write about my favorite movies and movie-related anecdotes.

First of all, I honestly don’t remember the first movie I saw.

But, I think it was a Jackie Chan movie because I’ve always loved action movies.

My mother also liked Jackie Chan, so I think the movies I watched from a young age were action movies with Jackie Chan in them.

I love action movies for some reason, and even after I became aware of things, I think I’ve watched a lot of action movies, such as Sentai movies, Kamen Rider, and Western action movies.

It’s hard to choose a favorite Jackie Chan movie, but if I had to choose, it would be Drunken Master.

The best scene was when he was drunk and fighting in an entertaining way.

I also love Rush Hour! 

What I respect about him is that he does everything himself without a stuntman.

Pursuing realism is a beautiful and shining light in any profession.

In most Jackie Chan movies, a reel of the scenes is shown at the end, and I was very moved by the way he never gave up and completed the film no matter how injured he was.

Just watching the movie made me feel that action movies are rewarding.

And although it may sound like a man’s romance, I admire him for it. It’s simply cool.

Speaking of Western action movies, I loved “The Terminator”

This was influenced by my father. lol

The line where he says  “I’ll be back” is thrilling.

I think The Terminator goes beyond just being an action movie or a science fiction movie and asks the question “What is a human being?”

In particular, in “Terminator 2,” the T-800, which was once a symbol of fear, becomes a guardian, and I was moved by the way it exudes humanity despite being a machine. No matter how many times I watch this story, I never get bored of it, as it is a cross between the despair of the future and the people desperately trying to survive in the present…

I feel that this is a masterpiece that teaches not only the power of the action, but also the potential of humans and the preciousness of bonds.

Now that we’ve talked about Western movies, I’d like to talk about Japanese action movies next, and the one I’m most into is Arimashite.

That’s the live-action “Rurouni Kenshin”.

I was captivated by Himura Kenshin played by Takeru Sato.

I could see his dedication to not only his acting but also his sword fighting, and I really felt his professional spirit.

Moreover, he played the lead role for about nine years, from the first film in 2012 to the final chapter in 2021, so I have a lot of respect for him.

I also really liked Kamen Rider Den-O.

Thank you, Takeru Sato, for your wonderful works.

The theme song for the final chapter is also great…

It’s a song called “Renegades” by ONE OK ROCK, and it matches the work perfectly, so I was moved.

I like action movies and I only watched them, but Rurouni Kenshin made me want to try my hand at action someday.

From here on, let me talk about Kamen Rider and Sentai.

To put it simply, my favorite Kamen Rider is Agito.

Agito was broadcast in 2001, the year I was born, but I learned about Agito after I was old enough to understand, and rented the DVDs and watched all of them.

I love the super simple transformation belt and the transformation.

The transformed form is also stylish, and although there are many riders in Agito, they are all perfect.

The story is also great, so if you have the chance, please watch Kamen Rider Agito.

And my favorite Sentai is Dekaranger.

See?

I like Bang Bang. To be more specific, I love the Patrol Striker that Banban rides. Even more so, I really love the D-Magnum 01/D-Magnum 02 and Hybrid Magnum that Banban uses.

At the time, I wanted the gun that Banban uses, so I looked everywhere, but I couldn’t find it anywhere, so now I’m thinking about buying it.

The opening and ending songs are also catchy, and I remember humming them all the time.

Anyway, Kamen Rider and Sentai are children’s dreams. Of course I admire them. Thank you for all the fun.

I started with an action movie, even though it’s about movies, and I’ve gotten sidetracked. Sorry.

So, I’ll end by talking about the oldest movie I can remember, the first one I saw at the theater.

I think it wasn’t an action movie, right?

My memory is hazy, so I’m not sure if it was this one, but I think it was Cars.

I like action movies, but I’ve loved vehicles since I was little. Guys love cars . A boys thing , isn’t it ? 

I watched the movie at the theaters and also have the  DVD. That’s called  “LOVE”

As you can see in the picture, I love Toy Story and movies starring Johnny Depp, and I couldn’t get enough of the humorous moments.

I still have a lot of movies I like, but I’ll keep on going non stop so I’ll push a break around here.

Anyway, I hope that one day I’ll be able to play a role in an action movie.

I’ll continue to work hard in many different areas.
